Brigitte Felix was born was a condition called Ebstein anomaly. It's a rare heart defect in which her tricuspid valve isn't formed properly. This is officially her 3rd open heart surgery and hopefully her last. This surgery is going to be a valve replacement which will finally give her a better quality of life and energy to finally do the things she loves. Unfortunately, her SDI pays very little as most of us know. Our hope is to raise enough money for her to cover her mortgage, living expenses, and any additional medical expenses she may accrue.
