Brigid Tomlinson

I come to you writing something no daughter is ever prepared to write.

My mom, Brigid Tomlinson, was recently diagnosed with End Stage Liver Cancer at just 55 years old.

On March 6th, my mom was admitted to the hospital, where the results of an exploratory surgery discovered that she had a fast growing cancer which began in her liver and has now metastasized. Doctors were saying she had anywhere from 4-12 months of life left.

Unfortunately, we weren't even blessed with that amount of time with her. In just a short few weeks, her health declined dramatically and she was sent home on hospice on the 29th. She passed away, surrounded by her children and loved ones at home late that night.
