Hello! My name is Brigid, and I am having a difficult time, of late. I started my transition back in 2023, and since then have been making do with a lot of clothes still from my "masquerading as a boy" phase, as well as some hand-me-downs that were graciously given to me. It's been a few years, however, and many of my things are beginning to wear out at an increasing pace. While I have submitted a disability case, it is taking the usual glacial pace these things take, which leaves me without any money, unable to really get more as I can't currently work while the case is pending, and otherwise rather stuck, financially.

The goal being set here is to fund me getting some new anchor pieces for my wardrobe, as well as assisting me with gas and car insurance to allow me to go on the hunt proper for clothes. I'm focusing on the replacement of clothes, as helping to dress more in the manner that I want to present will help to alleviate both dysphoria and the depression that malingers when dysphoria rears its ugly head.

It's a rich person who has a good community to help them in a time of need, and I've been doing a lot of work in therapy to recognize that I am, indeed, rich in community, and so I am doing as I need to and asking for help. Even if all you can manage is a share, that is still an appreciated contribution. Thank you for your help and support!
