I'm running the Brighton Marathon this weekend and ask for your support for the run and for a small, local charity that Naomi (Mrs B) works for. Recently, there has (rightly) been a great deal of focus on supporting charities etc helping people impacted by the war. However, that has put a lot of pressure on the fund raising efforts and requirements of smaller charities.
Pedal People offers participants 6-20Km riding through their community. Taking in parks, seafront and allotments all enjoy interaction and wind in hair wellbeing. They offer accessible cycling for people who are disabled, elderly, have health challenges or special educational needs. Ages from 4-100+.
They need to raise £4000 each year to keep the cycles maintained with parts and servicing.
- £30 gives a ride out for someone with a carer-pilot
- £50 maintains a specialist cycle for one-month
- £1000 sponsors a cycle-pilot for 1 year - all cycle training, support plus dementia and disability support skills
Thank you in advance for your contribution
