I am not a runner, infact I hate it. But to motivate myself in these incredibly hard, dark, gloomy months I wanted to push myself and raise money for a charity very very close to my heart.

In 2020 I lost my brother by suicide. He was a father to my two beautiful nieces, a husband to my incredible sister in law, a friend to so many and we all love and miss him so deeply. Ol wore his big heart on his sleeve for the world to see, he was undoubtedly the kindest, loveliest man I’ll ever have known. He had so much time for everyone, always invested in what you were saying and would always listen with the warmest unconditional love. I don’t think there’s anyone I know who isn’t suffering a battle with mental health and this charity does wonders for those in crisis.

When Ol first held me as a baby and he was a little 8 year old boy he said “she looks like an angel just dropped down from heaven” (hence my middle name) and now he is my angel looking down on me.
