A Bright Future for Everett
Donation protected
About six months ago, my wife, Gail, and I became the guardians of Everett, a 17 year old student at Muhlenberg High School, and welcomed him into our home indefinitely when his single mother was experiencing financial hardship. A few days ago (July 15th), Everett’s mother passed away very tragically. Our family is heartbroken for Everett and trying to be there for him as best we can during this difficult time.
Everett is a very genuine, kind hearted, intelligent young man. He has made our lives better since he joined our family. He’s faced more challenges over his 17 years than many have in a lifetime, myself included. I strongly believe his experiences and the values his mother instilled in him have shaped the person he is today.
It wasn’t until recently that Everett expressed a desire to attend college upon graduation in 2020. He has a passion for computer programming and web design and would like to attend college for computer science or software engineering. He had always written off the possibility solely due to financial concerns, but understands he has the support he needs to fulfill his true potential and dreams.

If you know Everett personally, then you probably also know that he never complains or asks for anything. With the help of our family and friends, we would like to do something special for Everett during this very difficult time. Your love, encouragement, and generosity will allow Everett’s mother’s legacy to live on through him and through his future. Thank you so much.
