Brighter future for Xavier 5, Xander 3 & their mom
Donation protected
My lifelong friend of 37 years Yatsen André; we simply became like siblings to one another through the years, got the blow of a lifetime...finding out he had brain cancer.
He fought courageously (3 surgeries, chemo, radiation, you name it!!) for 3.5 years. All the while maintaining his positive outlook and crazy sense humour. Boy did I enjoy laughing with him! He made so many of us smile during his life!!
Unfortunately, he is nearing the end of his fight.
He is currently in palliative care. His familie's life now permanently changed forever. He will sadly be leaving behind his beloved wife Anushka, and sons,
5 year old Xavier and 3 year old Xander.
As Anushka and the boys go through this last chapter of Yatsen's life together, Anushka can't work. Nor will she be able to leave her children immediately to go back to work once Yatsen is gone. It's going to take a lot of emotional recovery to come through to the other side of this final chapter.
I'm hoping, that with your generosity, you can help me rally behind Anushka and the boys during this next phase of their lives. Please help me make it as seamless as possible while they take the necessary time to heal from losing our beloved Yatsen.
Anushka is going to need to figure out where living expenses will come from. Everything from food to keeping a roof over their heads.
They have always lived a humble lifestyle.
No vacations, no extravagant outings. No new cars or even new clothing. Never complaining, happy even, because they had all they needed.
The boys don't need an over abundance of new things like toys either.
They have more than what they need for that. They truly live a no waste, appreciate what you have kind of lifestyle!
But what Anushka will need is to be paying for obvious basic everyday needs and beyond those that aren't so obvious. Expensive expenses like grievance family therapy, and occupational therapy for example as Xavier is autistic. Anushka might need a part time or even full time nanny and or babysitting to help manage the eventuality of going back to work. She is now shouldering all the responsibilities of raising her wonderful boys solely on her own.
The smallest little bit will surely help. There is always strength in numbers. They say it takes a "village".
Please help me build that village for Xavier and Xander. No one should ever have to worry about finances, especially during and through devastating times.
Any little bit anyone can offer will mean a brighter future for my dear Yatsen's boys.
With all my gratitude,
Jennifer
