Hi Everyone,

For those of you that don’t know my name is Tommy, I am currently a second year general nursing student at The University of Galway. This coming summer I have been given the opportunity to undertake a service placement volunteering in Londiani, Kenya with Brighter Communities worldwide for a month. My role will include installing smokeless stoves within the community, administering vaccines and volunteering as a student nurse in the local hospitals & medical centres. The student nurses will also be involved in offering educational workshops to the community. €1,000 will go directly to the charity to support future projects, the remaining funds will be used to cover personal expenses such as vaccines and travel. Any donation will make a huge difference.
