In October 2021, our team of approximately 40 volunteers will return to the Dominican Republic and provide dental care in under-served communities.
Our focus will be providing dental care to school-age children and their families living in the remote community of El Valle. El Valle is a 300 person community that lives from finishing and local tourism. Since we visit El Valle on a frequent basis, we keep up with most of the patients to continue providing health care and see if they have improvements. For these people to visit a dentist, they have to travel 2 hours to the nearest town and if they can make it, it’s hard to afford private or even public health care.
We will be able to perform all aspects of restorative dentistry and need your help to cover the cost of Dentures and hygiene kits!
***For every $25 we can provide a bio-sustainable oral hygiene kit for a whole family from A Green Dentist www.agreendentist.com.
For every $100 we can fabricate a denture for somebody who lost their teeth - our goal is to give 50 people their smile back this October!
