Help Get BriggsWilsons To World Sport Stacking Championships

Our son Theo, aged 12, and daughter Ruby, aged 7 as well as us, their parents James and Donna, have been invited to represent Australia in the World Sport Stacking championships in Switzerland in April 2025 as part of The Australian Lightning Sport Stacking Team.

Theo and Ruby started this sport only 2 years ago and in that time they have both taken out all divisional Australian records in their previous and/or current divisions, Theo SS 11-14years (special stackers, those who live with a disability ). Ruby holds all 6U divisional Australian Records and currently one 8U divisional Australian Records.

At the 2024 world Sport Stacking Championships in Orlando Florida Theo was crowned the 2nd fastest overall SS stacker, and at the age of just 6years Ruby was the Under 8 Female Divisional World Champion.

Theo also currently holds the SS child/parent doubles divisional World Record

He is the fastest special stacker in Australia and currently sits at 12th Special Stacker in the World.

Theo, aged 12, was born with and lives with Autism and Cerebral Palsy and has accomplished so much in this sport in such a short period of time, and was invited onto the Australian Lightning team after only competing for a few short months. He was lucky enough to participate in the World Sport Stacking Championships in Singapore in April last year with his dad who is also on the Australian team.

Ruby, aged 7, also lives with Autism and was invited onto the team at the Australian National Sport Stacking Championships in 2023 and earning herself an invite to Worlds 2024 with her mum Donna, who is also on the Australian team.

Both Donna and James also hold all 3 Australian Divisional Records in their age group.

As their parents, we have loved seeing Theo & Ruby flourish amongst an amazing community of "stackers" and develop numerous life skills and life long friendships along the way.

Being invited to represent their country itself is a massive achievement and we cannot wait to see them shine around the world.

All funds raised will go towards our flights, accommodation, uniforms and registration costs.

This sport is 100% self funded and you can imagine the cost in getting all 4 of us overseas to compete.

Sport stacking, also known as cup stacking or speed stacking, is an individual and team sport that involves stacking 9 or 12 (usually 12) specially designed cups in pre-determined sequences as quickly as possible. The cups are specially designed to allow for speedier times. Participants of sport stacking stack cups in specific sequences, by aligning the inside left lateral adjunct of each cup with that of the next. Sequences are usually pyramids of 3, 6, or 10 cups. Players compete against the clock or another player.
