Get Briggs to 2024 All State Games - Kansas City

Briggs has played baseball since he was 4. He has always had a special love for the sport and even more so now. He plays majors in little league and made the 10U All Star team little leauge last spring and also play club ball for the Aces 12u AAA team. Briggs is the hardest worker academically and athletically.

Briggs is dyslexic and goes to tutoring twice a week and still manages to keep A’s and B’s in school all while playing baseball full time. This kid eat, sleeps and breaths baseball. If he is not at school or the baseball field he’s out in the back yard doing drills, hitting or fielding.

Briggs is determined to be the best of he can be on and off the field. He is the biggest hype man to his class mates and team mates. A natural born leader is what his coaches refer to him as. He has a true heart of gold. He is only in 5th grade, but has already began to follow and look into colleges his top two are the University of Florida and the University of Oregon. His end goal is to make it to the MLB.

To be nominated your team had to finish in the top 25 teams in your age division in the state to be able to be nominated to try out for the all state team. Briggs tried out December 29-30th. There were 43 kids that tried out, but they were only rostering 12 kids to make the Arizona all state team. Over the 2 days they had high school/college coaches evaluating them. They evaluated running, hitting, fielding, primary positions and secondary positions. As well as accountability & leadership on and off the field. He gave it his all and left everything out on the field! We then had to wait 3 weeks to be notified who the 12 were that made the Arizona All State team roster.

We got the email on 1/22 that Briggs had made the team! this is a HUGE achievement for briggs as he went up against the best of the best in our state and he now gets to represent our grate state of Arizona this summer in Kansas City of the USSSA All State games!
