That's me in the photo after receiving a Master's degree. It started with the help of MANY during my former years.  My family and community helped me reach my goals. Likewise I will pay it back and pay it forward!

The Briggs-Arthur Scholarship is a scholarship that recognizes and rewards academic excellence in high school students. The scholarship was started in 2015 with the belief of Paying it Forward. The Briggs-Arthur scholarship is funded by Dale Arthur and Teresa Briggs Arthur, both graduates of Hemingway High School and generous supporters. One student will receive a one-time award after admission and completed registration into an accredited 4 year college or university. As products of a small town, we believe in supporting the community. We also would be humbled and grateful should you decide to partner with us and donate to this cause.
