Bridging Hope: Standing Strong With Your Piano Guy, Elliot

Hello everyone!

My name is Elliot, a professional working musician for over 30 years, and I am reaching out to you with a humble heart and hopeful spirit.

For the past 4-5 years, I have been navigating life with some significant medical issues which have presented numerous challenges and which have essentially left me disabled and no longer able to work --not just as a musician, but work of any kind.

Despite my unwavering determination and relentless efforts, I find myself in a situation where I've been denied disability benefits by Social Security not just once, but three times. I've even had to face the daunting prospect of having to attend a hearing in front of a judge, only to receive yet another denial.

These disabilities have prevented me from working over these past 4-5 years. Prior to that, I was known to many having performed at various local venues in the south Orange County area for over 20 years as the singer/piano player I was.

Living a life of financial instability is an everyday battle, one that not only affects me physically but also emotionally and financially. Simple tasks that many take for granted have become monumental obstacles for me. Yet, amidst the struggles and setbacks, I refuse to let my financial instability define me or dampen my spirit.

I am turning to you, the compassionate souls of this community, in the hope of receiving your support and solidarity. Your kindness and generosity can make a world of difference in my life. With your help, I can access the resources and assistance I desperately need to navigate this challenging journey with a little more ease and dignity cause I need these funds for survival (i.e. rent, food, transportation, etc.)
