On January 14, 2016, Jorge Luis Villasenor was ready to pick up his 2 year-old son, 5-year old daughter, and 8 year-old stepson from school and daycare, but after stepping outside of his home he was shot to death.
19 year-old Cecilia, step-daughter, was inside of the home and heard the gunshots while Jorge Luis Villasenor's wife, Cynthia was at work.
Jorge Luis Villasenor and Cynthia got married in 2012 and moved into their current home in Bridgeview in 2014. Jorge Luis Villasenor was a very hardworking man and loved by all his colleagues. He worked day and night to renovate his home for his wife and children to move in; this renovation consisted of putting a new roof, siding and some windows. He still had some windows to complete in Spring 2016. He was always smiling and was easily accepted by family members of Cynthia because of the way he made her truly happy. Together, they had many plans for the future that were shattered in a matter of seconds.
As the family begins to face the hardships and reality of this horrific event, we ask for prayers for the family and for the future of all four of the children, for they are all left without a father. Jorge Luis Villasenor's workplace is trying to accumulate money to count as insurance, but he did not have life insurance. All of the money that is kindly donated will be used for funeral services, death expenses, the home's mortgage, and any other unexpected expenses as a consequence of this event. If you would like to donate through Chase quickpay please help in any way you can: [email redacted]
You never expect this such tragedy to hit home, no one expected it and when you're faced with it it's very hard to comprehend as to why it happened. All we can do is pray and move forward and hope it gets easier with the support of family and friends.
Thank you in advance for all your love and support during this difficult time.
