I’m Bridget Luke, and I’m asking for help as I deal with ongoing health problems that have kept me out of work for the last two years. I have kidney disease and liver problems, and right now I’m also in pain from a kidney infection and need to see a doctor.

One of the hardest parts of this situation is that I do not have a way to get back and forth to my appointments. It has made it very hard for me to get the care I need, especially while I’m already sick and struggling financially. On top of that, I cannot afford my copays, doctor visits, or hospital bills.

I am trying to raise $7,000 through this fundraiser. Of that, $4,004 is intended for a car so I can have a way to get back and forth to the doctor, and the rest will go toward my bills. Because my health needs are ongoing, recurring donations would make a real difference by helping me continue getting to appointments over time and keep up with medical expenses as they come. One-time donations would also help me greatly and are deeply appreciated.
