A Heartfelt Plea to Support Bridget’s Fight

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters following Bridget’s cancer journey,

Today, I reach out with a heavy heart and a deep hope that we can come together to support someone who means so much to so many. Our beautiful Bridget was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer on February 26th, 2025; a day that changed everything.

Since then, Bridget has endured an unimaginable battle, facing not just the cancer itself but devastating complications that nearly cost her life. After spending 13 critical hours in resuscitation, she’s continued to be in and out of hospital, barely home for a few days at a time before being rushed back to emergency with further life, threatening setbacks.

Due to her declining health, Bridget is no longer able to work. Her family, now relying on a single income, is under immense emotional and financial strain. The burden of ongoing and escalating medical expenses has become overwhelming. Bridget’s treatments have been put on hold; not because the cancer is gone, but because her body has suffered too much. At one point, she was even facing the possibility of a liver transplant.

Despite all this, Bridget remains the fighter we all know and love. Even in the depths of her illness, she has still found the strength to give; raising funds for the Cancer Council, always thinking of others before herself. That's the Bridget we know and love.

Now, it’s our turn to give back to Bridget.
