Bridget's Cancer Fight
Donation protected
We are a team of close family members and friends at Harrison Rehab and Health in a small tightknit community. So when one of our sisters, best friends, and coworker fell ill we new she was going to need more help than we alone could give. We are raising money for Bridget Brewer. She is a single mother of three beautiful children who she adores with all her soul. Bridget Brewer is a young 37 year old who was recently diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. She intends on working as long as she can to maintain her insurance and provide for her family but her job in itself may pose health issues for her once she starts chemo. You see, Bridget Brewer has spent her young life taking care of other people and their loved ones. She is a licensed practical nurse in a long term care facility and her residents and coworkers are also her extended family. As people get sick it also puts Bridget at risk and not able to work or safely enter the facility, also putting her financially at risk. Bridget is a very modest person who never likes to ask for help because she is always the one giving it to others. In fact, Bridget worked in pain for several weeks because she didn’t want to leave her residents without care or put her coworkers in a bind. After several days of debate she finally went to the doctor and the unimaginable was announced. We are asking for help in raising money for Ms. Brewer and her family to help pay for medical expenses and any other expenses that may incur. Thank you for your time and please remember to help those who help others.
