Bridget Murphy - Paris Paralympic 2024 Campaign

Donation protected
A horse lover and rider her whole life, Bridget is fully focused and committed to making her dream of representing Australia come true and is currently campaigning for the Paris 2024 Paralympics.

Just like many horse obsessed children, Bridget was riding at a young age and grew up going through Pony Club. She proved herself a talented horsewoman and rider throughout her pony club years, receiving many awards for her efforts, including the highest possible, the Award of Merit, for her equestrian talent and commitment to giving back to her sport. Even now, as she moves into high performance sport, she is still a part of the Pony Club community, having taken on roles coaching young riders and judging at competitions.

After her pony club years, she moved onto HRCAV where she was again an active part of the equestrian community, taking on leadership roles in her local club, as well as being an active, and successful competitor often representing her club at state level.
Bridget was identified as a potential Para Equestrian talent, and with a little convincing from fellow Para Equestrian Sharon Jarvis, she jumped head first into the Para Dressage community, and is at the Elite level of her sport and part of the National High Performance Squad.

Coming from modest roots, Bridget has worked extremely hard to get to the level she's at, but now with the intense competition schedule and additional financial commitments that come with high performance sport, she is once again stepping out of her comfort zone and asking for help. Up until now, with the help of her wonderful sponsors and supporters, Bridget has been able to self fund her competitions, but now as the intensity, frequency and financial demands of competitions needed to reach her goals increases, she needs help to keep going.
The costs involved with campaigning for the Paris games is huge, with many trips interstate, adding to the already high cost of competing.

If anyone would like to make a tax deductible donation please reach out and I can send you a link to Bridget's Australian Sports Foundation page.

Every little bit helps, and it truly appreciated!
