As many of you know, our mom, Bridget Tatum, has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. She has now begun the hard road of chemotherapy, with weekly treatments and the difficult side effects that come with it. This will be a long fight, but she is ready to face it with the love and support of those around her.
Our mom is one of the hardest working people we know. As a self-employed mail carrier with the postal service, if she can’t work, there’s no sick pay or backup. To keep her mail route running, she now has to pay someone to step in while she focuses on healing. On top of that, while insurance covers part of her care, there are still many out-of-pocket expenses for treatments, medications, and related medical costs that add up quickly.
Bridget has always been the kind of person to show up for others—whether it’s family, friends, or her community. Now it’s our turn to show up for her. We want her to be able to focus fully on getting better—not on bills or work. Any donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward covering medical expenses and the extra help she needs to keep her route going during this time.
If you aren’t able to donate, please know that your prayers, kind words, and sharing this page are just as meaningful to our family.
We believe she will beat this with strength, faith, and the love of her community by her side. Thank you for lifting Bridget up and helping lighten her load on this journey.
