Hi friends!
We (Gabby and Bridget) are about to do our longest and most meaningful ride yet!
What are we doing?
The Major Knox Legacy Tour
What exactly is it?
A quick history on this ride; In 1928, thick into the Harlem Renaissance, five young Black womxn hopped on their bicycles to ride 250 miles from Harlem, NY to Washington, DC in only three days to express radical joy in the outdoors.
Marylou Jackson, Velma Jackson, Ethyl Miller, Leolya Nelson, and Constance White set the challenge to ride 3-days a total of 270ish miles in less than 65 hours.
How are we doing this?
On May 28th, we will ride to honor their legacy and take on the challenge but we need your support.
These funds go towards supporting the tour cost. There will also be an alternative way of supporting our tour through LipRevolt.
https://liprevolt.com/pages/about-us (Details will be available for those who are interested in February).
We appreciate ya'll and happy riding!
