Bridge2Rwanda Scholar Success Fund
Tax deductible
NYU Women's Soccer is excited to partner with and contribute to the initiatives of Bridge2Rwanda, an educational a non-profit based in Kigali, Rwanda. We believe that a global education is the driver of innovation and the greatest form of empowerment!
Since 2007, 265 scholars from Rwanda, South Sudan, Burundi and the Democratic Republic of the Congo have received $55 million dollars in scholarships to some of the most prestigious Colleges and Universities in the U.S and abroad including Wellesley, Middlebury, Yale, Northwestern, Harvard, NYU Abu Dhabi and The London School Of Economics. Before going abroad, every scholar participates in a rigorous 16 month Scholar Leadership Program that prepares them for their academic and cultural experience in the United States. Group 8 has just begun their academic journeys abroad while Group 9 is hard at work submitting their College Applications!

B2R’s mission is to build high capacity leaders that will contribute to the economic growth of their respective countries. B2R's network of globally educated scholars is driving Rwanda’s economic development, a major component of Rwanda's Vision 2050 goals.
ALL proceeds go directly to the Scholar Success Fund, specifically towards:
· Flights for scholars
· Winter Clothing
· Dorm Necessities
· Technology (Laptop/Cell Phone)
· Textbooks/School Supplies
· Living Stipends
· Health Insurance
B2R is always on the lookout for host families as well. Host families are the scholars' first point of contact in the U.S.
Responsibilities include welcoming the scholar to the U.S to ensure a smooth transition, moving them into their dorm, and making sure that they have proper attire and school supplies. Stay tuned to see where Group 9 is headed!
