Bridge to Self-Sufficiency

Hello, my name is Reggie Nixon and I am resurrecting my story from a previous fundraiser. My journey toward self-sufficiency contiinues. While I had imagined a stronger financial footing by now, LIFE generates surprises, and there it is.

My life since 2020 has like many, been a roller coaster. At the time, I was, to my shock, diagnosed with prostate cancer. I underwent robotic surgery, which was successful at the time. However, in 2022, the cancer had metastacized into by axial skeleton (spine, sacrum, and ribs). A second treatment, chemotherapy this time, was also very successful. I am scheduled for monthly check ups, therapy, with periodic CT-scans just to keep an eye on things.

Nonetheless, my health prevents me from returning to my 2020 job as a Certified massage therapist: too stressful on my bones, now riddled with the scars and dents of the earlier cancer. So, its the start of not only job-searching, but career-recreating! By the Grace of friends and relatives, their donations have kept me alive over these few years.

I've since managed to find two jobs: a primary one (substitute teaching), and a secondary one (online customer service, working for a real estate firm that processes tax-delinquent properties). Unfortunately the secondary job, being contractual, has no business for me to process at the moment. My primary job still awaits me, but the required training is taking longer than I anticipated, and meanwhile I need cash. I hope to finish training and start working in the week of June 19, 2023. Even if I do start then, payment won't be available until two weeks later!
So I need a financial bridge of $1,000, until paychecks manifest. The money will go toward monthly basics. I'm stretching every dollar. No eating out, no festivals, no games, no purchases of clothing. I stopped my TV and newspaper subscriptions months ago. The monthly expenses that need covering include:
1. food
2. car fuel
3. auto and home insurance
4. cell phone
5. online PC internet access
6. dental insurance
7. Medicare premium

These are the expenses that my monthly Social Security check and food stamp card do not cover. Yes, my monthly food-stamp alotment is only $100. And the organic food I need for my health is, unlike mainstream groceries, NOT government subsidized.

As previously mentioned, I'd thought I'd be working by now, but that's life. I'm glad I have my physical health, but I need financial health as well. I really could use your help. I am studying fiercely to finish my substitute teacher training, but if anyone needs any online jobs done, or any research done. I will be happy to provide those services in exchange for cash!
