We are raising funds to provide a safe, supervised "bridge" for Rick following his jail release on March 26th. Our primary goal is to provide him with stable housing (hotel) and basic necessities for the next 30 days while we work to transition him into a long-term inpatient treatment facility.
Why This Is Necessary: As many of you know, the journey to recovery is a marathon. To give Rick the best chance at success and to ensure the safety and financial stability of our mother we need to provide him with a controlled environment that isn't her home. This fund will prevent him from entering a cycle of homelessness or further financial strain on the family during this critical transition period.
How the Funds Will Be Used: Safe Housing: 30 days of pre-paid hotel lodging. Essential Needs: Basic groceries, hygiene supplies, and a "re-entry kit" (weather-appropriate clothing and gear). Treatment Transition: Coordination costs for getting him evaluated and transported if he agrees to inpatient facility.
Our Transparency Promise: If Rick chooses to decline this help, leaves the hotel, or refuses to follow the recovery plan, all remaining funds will be Donated to a local addiction recovery center in the Quad Cities. Your contribution is a vote for his health and our family’s peace of mind, and we will manage it with total transparency.
Thank you for your love and support during this difficult time. — Michelle & Family
