After 6 years of hard work, Peyton was supposed to come home on February 1st—but a devastating betrayal by a trusted advisor left us without the funds to bridge the gap until June.
Many of you have walked alongside us during Peyton’s journey in her therapeutic program. You’ve seen her incredible resilience, her hard work, and the person she has become. I am so deeply proud of the growth she has achieved.
The Situation
Our original plan was for Peyton to finally come home on February 1st. Because that was her graduation date, her funding was only set up through that day.
However, we recently faced a devastating setback. A trusted individual who was handling all the logistical planning for Peyton’s transition home suddenly disappeared. He not only took the transition funds I had saved but also left us without the necessary plan to bring her home safely this month.
The Pivot
As a single mother navigating this crisis, I have had to create a new "Plan B" on the fly. To make our lives sustainable, I am relocating us to a more affordable area. However, my current lease does not end until June, and I cannot safely move or transition Peyton until then.
The Goal: $10,000
Because Peyton’s funding ended on February 1st, I am now responsible for her tuition and care through June. I am looking to raise $10,000 to cover these "bridge months." This will ensure Peyton stays in her stable, supportive environment until we can officially move into our new home this summer.
How You Can Help
Whether it’s a donation, a share, or a prayer, every bit of support helps shield Peyton from this setback at the very end of her journey.
