Bridge the Technology Gap in Rural Indian Village Classrooms

Donation protected
We are aiming to raise money for students in India to have greater access to technology within their education. As part of a collaboration between the Emory Undergraduate Service Journal Club and Remote STEM and Health Education Initiative, we are working to help provide high-impact educational resources to students in rural areas. The Remote STEM and Health Education Initiative connects with Indian students in villages weekly through Zoom information calls to provide instructions on various topics in science, medicine/health, and career informations to help students design an individualized career plan that allows them to reach their full potential. Indian students in villages are being hindered from receiving access to high-quality education found in many first world countries. We can help level the educational plain field and remove inequities through improving their access to education and technological resources. 100% of the funds raised will go towards giving students in villages across India access to technology (eg. Desktops in classrooms) to allow instructors to more effectively instruct and integrate real-world resources in their lesson plans. This will also allow students greater access to online educational resources and help provide us with a more effective, sustainable teaching platform to reach out to these students. Please donate today and improve the lives of the next generation.
