Our father is one of the most selfless and caring people you could ever meet. He’s the kind of person who will drop everything to help someone in need and has always gone above and beyond to do anything and everything he can for his family. He’s been our provider, our protector, and our biggest supporter.

Recently, he was diagnosed with myelofibrosis, a rare and aggressive blood cancer that has forced some temporary changes in his everyday life. His only option for a chance at recovery is a stem cell transplant, which requires him to relocate to Tampa, Florida, for about three months for treatment and close monitoring.

As he undergoes this life-saving procedure, he will be unable to work and will be out of work for at least six months. For a man who has always prided himself on providing for his family, this has been incredibly difficult—not just physically, but emotionally. Even in the midst of his fight, he worries about keeping up with the bills. If you know him, you know!!!

That’s why we’re reaching out. We’re asking for support to help him stay afloat during this time—so that while he’s focused on healing, he doesn’t have to carry the added stress of falling behind financially.
