I never thought I’d have to make a GoFundMe, but life has a way of humbling you sometimes. My car recently broke down completely. The engine blew and I’ve been left without transportation. As the sole provider, that car wasn’t just a vehicle; it was my lifeline. It got me to work every day, allowed me to run errands, and helped me show up for my family the way I’m supposed to.

Now, I’m stuck trying to figure out how to move forward. I have a steady job and a solid work history, but my credit isn’t the best right now, which makes it really hard to finance a new car without a big down payment. I’m doing everything I can, but this setback has really put me in a tough spot.

I’m asking for $5,000 to help with a down payment on a reliable car, something safe and dependable that can get me back to work and keep me providing for my loved ones. I don’t want a handout. I just need a helping hand to bridge this gap and get back on track.

This situation has been overwhelming and honestly really emotional for me. I’ve worked hard to stay on my feet, and it’s hard to ask for help, but I’m learning sometimes you have to lean on community.
