Why JR Needs $8,000 to Stay Afloat During Recovery
JR, 46, has always been a hardworking father who has always done his best to support himself and his family. Recently divorced, he had been holding down two jobs, until one laid him off. Set to start his new job on May 18, things took a turn when he experienced a cardiac event that requires open heart surgery that very morning. Now, JR is facing six to eight weeks of recovery, during which he can’t work.
While we’re incredibly grateful that he’s been approved for Medicaid to cover medical expenses, that doesn’t help with everyday essentials.
We want to provide a bridge. With $8,000, he’ll be able to cover his mortgage, car payments, and basic bills until he can return to work.
Those who know JR know he’s not one to ask for help lightly. Any contribution you can make will help keep him on solid ground while he heals—and get him back to the hardworking life he’s always led.
