Bridge the Gap for Jeremy and Sheridan's Recovery

Hello, we are Jeremy and Sheridan Greenhaw.

We are asking for help to pay medication costs, rent, and daily expenses for three months to get us through until our long-term disability insurance comes through. I was a nurse who was infected at work by a patient with COVID two years ago. My husband caught the virus from me. We both have heart and lung damage and long-haul COVID. Neither of us can work. We have applied to the insurance companies that we paid for, however, the process is long and we have had to get attorneys involved.

We have exhausted our savings, sold everything of value, including our wedding rings, to be able to afford daily expenses, medication, food, and travel to and from the doctors three times per week. Unfortunately, no one expects that it would take so long, and be such a fight to have coverage from the insurance. We planned well and saved well, but for us, it's been a long hard fight.

Any help we could get would be appreciated from the bottom of our hearts. We are hopeful that in time new therapies will be found and we can get back to doing what we love, nursing and being healthy.
