Help a Mother & Son Stay Afloat After Job Loss

Hi, I’m Destiny Pennerman, and I’m reaching out with faith, hope, and a little vulnerability.

Life has thrown us a curveball—I recently lost my job, and as a single mother, I’m doing everything in my power to keep things moving forward for my son and me. We don’t currently have reliable transportation, which makes job searching and day-to-day life more challenging—but I know this is just a season, not the end of our story.

I’m eager to get back to work and rebuild. I’m motivated, I’m applying every day, and I believe brighter days are right around the corner. In the meantime, I’m asking for a little help to bridge the gap.

This fundraiser will help us with:

Transportation (rides, public transit, or long-term options)

Basic necessities (food, bills, rent)

Support for my son’s daily needs while I work on securing our next opportunity
