Bridge the Gap: Help Trey for One Month
Donation protected
My name is Trey. I’m a full-time student at the University of Maryland, and I’m doing everything I can to stay on my feet — but I’ve hit a short-term wall.
Due to a housing mistake in my financial aid paperwork, I received a much smaller loan amount than I actually needed for off-campus living. By the time it was discovered, it was too late to fix for this semester. I’ve appealed, and the correction is in process for my upcoming move — but right now, I have almost no money left and no way to bridge the gap.
I was able to manage most of the year with odd jobs and help from my family, but now I am down to $56 in my account. I need to cover rent, groceries, and basic bills for one more month — just enough to stay housed and fed until I transition to my new place with corrected aid. I’ve tried to find short-term work, but with a firm move-out deadline looming, it isn’t feasible.
I’m not asking for a lot — just enough to survive this one-month gap. After that, I’ll be in a stable, sustainable situation again.
If you can help or even just share this page, it would mean the world to me. Thank you for taking the time to read this — seriously.
