Hi, I'm Hilary, and I'm raising funds to get me through a rough patch as I pursue my master's in library science. I've been laid off since early November and went back to school (University of North Texas) in January to pursue my career passion: libraries.

I love school even though the news in the greater world is discouraging about libraries and academia. I plan to stay the course. I am furiously job hunting (3 interviews this week) and also doing everything I can to make myself marketable for after graduation--networking with librarians, getting good grades, winning scholarships to attend industry conferences. But I am going through a rough patch, and at the end of this month my bank account will be completely empty. I am raising money to get me through May, when I anticipate things will improve because hopefully summer federal aid will come in and one of these jobs I'm interviewing for will work out. If you have the ability to help me stay in school and pay my bills during this crossover period between spring and summer semester, I'd so appreciate it. Thank you <3
