I never imagined I’d be writing something like this, but I’m reaching out because my family is in a very real financial bind—and we need temporary support to stay stable.

Over the past year, I became a full-time caregiver and advocate for my disabled child after serious medical and educational issues arose. What began as “stepping in to help” quickly became an around-the-clock responsibility that made it impossible for me to continue working.

Since then, I’ve had no income, while still covering basic living expenses for my family. I’ve done everything I can to handle this the “right way”—seeking assistance, pursuing formal remedies, and advocating through appropriate channels—but those processes take time, and bills don’t wait.

Right now, the biggest challenges we’re facing are:

• Housing costs (a forbearance plan ending soon)

• Utilities and basic household expenses

• Transportation costs related to caregiving

• Food and daily necessities

This fundraiser is not about charity—it’s about bridge support. It allows me to keep my family housed, fed, and stable while we wait for longer-term solutions to resolve.
