Bridge Arts and Health: Donate Now
Donation protected
Help us strengthen the bridge between arts and health, across the globe! Your donation will sustain and grow our efforts to strengthen the international field of Arts in Health.
Founded by Dr. Kunle Adewale in 2017, through the support of the U.S. State Department and U.S. Embassy of Nigeria, The Global Arts in Medicine Fellowship is building an international network of Arts in Medicine practitioners focused on Medical Humanities.
We train, promote, and support practitioners in delivering arts-based interventions for the well-being of patients, families, caregivers, and communities. Our global community of arts in health practitioners across the world help bridge the gap between Arts, Science, Health and Wellbeing. We are motivated by the values of collaboration, empathy, servant leadership, shared knowledge and skills, inclusion, diversity, passion, and respect.
The Global Arts in Medicine Fellowship engages Artists, Musicians, Writers, Poets, Theatre Practitioners, Social Workers, Music Therapists, Art Therapists, Dancers, Public health professionals, Administrators, Researchers, Clinicians, Educators, Policymakers, Entrepreneurs and Mental Health and Wellness advocates and Community Members. Since 2017, we have offered 9 Cohorts, across Nigeria, Africa and the world, supporting 1000+ fellows from 60+ countries.
The Global Arts in Medicine Fellowship is a self funded non-profit organization and we’ve created an extraordinarily successful effort! Now, for the first time in our history, we’re inviting our communities to provide financial support as we elevate our efforts to the next level.
Your support will make it possible for us to…
- Train more Arts in Health Practitioners across the world
- Support the wellbeing of patients, caregivers, health workers, family members, and communities around the globe
- Provide accessible Arts in Health engagement and interventions in over 30 countries across the world
- Support our leadership team’s efforts and administrative works
- Implement the Fellowship Global Arts in Health Week and Festivals, delivered annually in the Global South
- Expand our Arts in Health outreach
