Thank you for your interest in supporting rebuilding efforts in rural Nepal! Briddim village is located near the Tibet border in Rasuwa, one of the most devastated districts from the recent earthquakes, landslides, and avalanches. The village has 43 houses, built with wood and loose stones, and its ~120 inhabitants are sustained primarily through subsistence agriculture and recently tourism.  All the houses in the village have minor to substantial damage and need to be rebuilt in a safer, earthquake resistent way. Currently, villagers are still residing in tents and temporary structures until the monsoon season passes (mid-September) until rebuilding can begin. A small team of SROM instructors are dedicating the month of November to assist in this rebuilding process and need your help to provide for the cost of rebuilding supplies (cement, wood, etc. ). The funds raised will go directly to purchasing these materials and their transportation to the village from the capital, Kathmandu.

धन्यबाद!  Dhanyabaad! Thank you!
