LYNWOOD (CBSLA) — One person was killed early Saturday morning in a five-vehicle crash on the westbound Century (105) Freeway in Lynwood.

The accident occurred around 3:05 a.m. when a 24-year-old man entered the freeway the wrong way and  crashed head-on into another vehicle near Long Beach Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The front-seat passenger of the vehicle that was struck was pronounced dead at the scene. The Los Angeles County coroner’s office identified the deceased woman as Briauna Ramirez, whose 18th birthday was Thursday.
