My name is Bobby Preston and I'm one of Brian Chrobak's best friends. I'm honored to be the President of The Now Foundation that was created in Brian's honor. Funds donated to The Now Foundation's #BRIANSTRONG campaign will first go to support Brian's immediate financial needs. Any extra funds will go to help other young adults and children in the New Castle area battling cancer. Brian himself hopes to go to support and encourage these young adults, children, and their families.

In 2021, our dear friend Brian Chrobak was diagnosed with breast cancer—something so rare that less than 1% of all breast cancer cases occur in men. For a healthy, young adult male like BC, this diagnosis was shocking and life-changing. Since then, BC has faced his battle with incredible courage and determination. Instead of letting this diagnosis define him, he has chosen to raise awareness about male breast cancer, a disease that often goes undetected in men until it is advanced. On October 18th, BC will be running the New York City Half Marathon—a powerful way to shine a light on this rare disease while inspiring others with his resilience and strength. But as anyone who has battled cancer knows, the journey comes with immediate challenges—medical bills, treatments, and day-to-day needs that can quickly become overwhelming.
