Hey Everyone!
Well, first and foremost, I was reluctant to do this... My brother and Tai were pushing back as well. However, I thought why not fill everyone in and open up to let people know some of the "fight against cancer" things that are going on in my brother's life. My brother was in remission once from Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma and everything seemed pretty much back to normal. Spirits were high, days were consistenly going good, and so much to look forward to. Recently the cancer showed up again and he needs to take different measures and go through some more procedures to send it back into remission, hopefully, once again. Now, don't get me wrong.. my brother works everyday he can. He even schedules his chemo and appts early or late enough not to miss time. He certainly isnt the lazy type (probably the reason he isn't all about this gofundme thing). Truely the REAL reason I'm creating this page is because of what he has to go through really soon. Bri has to go into the hospital for a month at the least. He has to be in there to have a bone marrow transplant without any income to pay his bills for that duration. His bills on the other hand, obviously, still need to be paid. He has to prepare mentally and financially to: one, have the bone marrow transplant, two, worry about keeping a roof over his wife and two dogs while he is in there and when he gets out, and three, to stay positive through all of that. They say positive thinking and preperation is key to beating any disease, especially cancer. This is why I'm making this link to eliminate some negative stress for him... With all this being said, I want to simplify it all for everyone. This way you know. It's not so simple for Bri. He had it beat, it came back. The wind was honestly taken out of his sail for the most part. His hopes were high and then, boom, the news about the cancer coming back absorbed all energy and motivation to really do anything. It's like he has to overcome cancer again to make any other simpler goals and/or plans for himself. Vacations, partys, and even some holidays were put on hold because he wasn't feeling up for it. Who would with all this on their mind!? God willing this transplant puts this relentless cancer crap to rest once and for all! This crowd funding request is for money to pay copays for hospital stay, to keep home bills current, and give my brother a "peace of mind" knowing his house is secure, while going into a hospital for a month (if things go well) to get a bone marrow transplant. There are already other risks when getting these transplants, but we like to stay positive and keep those out of the equation and out of the plan if God allows. I can only ask for help and repay you by doing the same for you if needed. I am personally asking everyone I know to donate, contribute, or help in anyway you can. This is a humbling request and every cent counts. Thank you for taking time to read this. Brian is a great guy and I am grateful to have a brother like him. Thanks in advance everyone. I really appreciate it.
Best,
Rob
