Brian’s ALS Journey
Beginning 12 years ago I started a career with CES, Comfort Engineered Systems, repairing air conditioners and I truly loved my job and company. I have not been able to work there since March of 2018. Being able to pick the best and worst days of ones life would be difficult for anyone. My best day took place in August of 2003 when I met the beautiful young lady that I would marry and make many memories with. Tiffany and I have been married for 14 years, she is my best friend and my daily caretaker. We have 4 children together, Alyssa is 13 yrs old, Miranda is 12 yrs old, Jaxon is 10 yrs old and Mya is 6 years old. My worst day took place on March 6th of 2018 when I was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease). As my doctor delicately explained the average life expectancy living with this disease is between 2 to 5 years and will slowly paralyze my body until I can no longer breathe. I have become more dependent on my wife with getting around and soon I will be in a power wheel chair permanently. We are so blessed that our friends, family and community have offered so much financially and more importantly are the never ending prayers. Thank you for any donation and prayers.
