This GoFundMe was started because I find myself in an emergency situation. I am reaching out in an effort to free myself from an impossible living situation. My landlord has not paid the utilities or the mortgage on the house where I rent a room. As I'm writing this, the power is off, leaving me in a precarious and terribly unsafe situation. My fellow renters and I have tried to resolve this situation to no avail. At this point, my back is against the wall and I need to move ASAP. That's what this GoFundMe is about. I am a 62-year-old disabled man living on a limited fixed income and am reaching out to friends, family, and strangers for help. I'm trying to raise enough for a security deposit and a months rent.
