Brian's Seizure Recovery

Donation protected

On the evening of May 27, 2021, my stepdad, Brian Thomas, had a seizure while driving on his way home from work. Because he was driving, his car hit the car in front of him, which led to a group of people stopping to help break the passenger side window in order to get to him and help him. He is currently in the ICU, and will need assistance with medical bills, repair costs for his car, and funds that will help him go about his daily life since he is now out of work.

Brian was out of work all of last year due to the pandemic, and had only just returned to work for three days before his seizure. Needless to say, it has been an extremely rough year for him.

Brian is a father and stepfather, and genuinely one of the most selfless people I know. He will do anything for his children, including the children that aren't related to him by blood. Any support is greatly appreciated by my family and I, and would make the path to recovery so much easier for him.

To those who saw the video on the OChoods Instagram- thank you for your kind words and prayers. It is so touching to see the caring and positive reaction from the community.

To the Samaritans who helped save his life on the road- words cannot describe how thankful we are for your support. It was heart breaking to see the video, but hearing and seeing the people desperately trying to save him was so heartwarming. Thank you so much.
