Three years ago, Brian had surgery to remove a brain tumor. For two and a half years, he remained seizure -free. However, beginning in September of 2016 he began having small seizures that increased in occurrence and intensity culminating with a very large and lengthy seizure just before Christmas.

Brian has been out of work since that seizure - without pay - as he has no sick time accrued. He does not qualify for the sick bank. He does, however, still need to pay for his health insurance during this time he is out without pay.

Brian has a wife, two children aged 16 and 13. Brian carries the health insurance for his family.

 It is unclear how long Brian will be out, and the absence of a regular paycheck, coupled with the continuance of the health insurance has placed a financial burden on him and his family.
