As many may be aware, Brian Creer (Palmer, AK) has been combating some serious health struggles throughout the last few years. Brian has been diagnosed with severe sarcoidosis in his lungs, spinal stenosis, various masses, and chronic lymphocytic lymphoma. With multiple doctors visits per week, physically draining medications, and still rapidly deteriorating mobility, Brian has been fighting what has seemed like an impossible uphill battle for far too long.
Thankfully, the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota has finally agreed to take Brian's case.
This fundraiser aims to assist the family as they prepare for another season of this battle. The funds generated from this account will go directly towards Mayo costs such as airfare, hotels, and the many unanticipated costs that come with receiving treatment outside of Alaska.
Brian is a husband, father, and grandfather of two young girls. The road has been long and exhausting, but he is still ready and willing to continue fighting. With your help, we hope to ease the financial burden so that he may focus on trudging through whatever comes next.
No amount is too little. Whatever you can spare at this time, know that we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We have coined the name "Brian's Army" because we truly believe that the small acts of kindness, prayers, and well wishes are what have gotten us to this point. Let's raise the army and win this battle.
