On July 25, 2025, Brian was involved in an ATV rollover accident. The incident resulted in a severe injury to his left forearm and hand. In the early morning hours of July 26, he was airlifted from Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia, to the Grady Trauma Center in Atlanta. Upon arrival, Brian was taken directly into extensive surgery. Two days later, another surgical attempt was made to save his arm and hand. Despite the dedicated efforts of the medical team, the surgeries did not achieve the outcome we had hoped for. On August 1, 2025, Brian underwent a mid-forearm amputation.
Brian has always had a passion for dirt roads, ATV riding on farms, and country music. He is known for his strong work ethic in painting and carpentry, finding great satisfaction in a job well done. Brian is also recognized for his willingness to help others during times of need.
Despite the challenges ahead and the pain he has now, Brian maintains a positive attitude and is determined to return to work. The road to recovery will be long, involving ongoing medical care, travel to and from Grady Trauma Center, and the eventual goal of obtaining a prosthetic device by the end of the year.
Though proud of his independence, Brian has agreed to accept help through this GoFundMe campaign to assist with his medical needs and recovery journey.
Any donations are deeply appreciated, and we, his family, want to express our eternal gratitude for the generosity and support extended to Brian. Thank you.
