This Fund is to Specially Raise Money for a Chair-Lift (not covered by Insurance) to Be placed on back steps (14 feet in air) next to driveway so Brian who uses a Walker can be transported to Doctors by his wife Erica who is his sole caregiver. He can No longer drive and is Housebound. The Fund is also to Cover Experimental Drugs and Procedures Not Coverded by Basic Medical Insurance. Please Pray and Only Donate if it is in your Heart ❤. Brian has always given to the Community via Scholarships (3 a year for the past 16 years of his own money at Clinton High School and West Hempstead High School). Any money donated that is not used will be given back via a scholarship or organization in need. *On the Afternoon of Thursday January 28th Brian's Life changed forever after he suddenly lost his Hearing in the Right Ear and Lost the Ability to Balance and Walk. He had just left Physical Therapy after being treated for a neck injury with a Massage Gun and was driving home when he suddenly heard his right Ear Pop and went Deaf. Very quickly he lost the ability to see straight and was dizzy/spinning. Thankfully he was able to get pulled over and his wife Erica got him to an Ear Specialist who detetmined the Nerve was suddenly Dead in the Right Ear. (A Very Rare Problem). Brian was sent to Mount Sinai South Nassau Hospital Immediately as a Possible TIA/Stroke Patient. He was quickly sent through Triage and sent to a Cardiac/Stroke Unit. The Medical Team worked rigorous for 5 days attempting to diagnose him and placed him on Steriod Therapy to attempt to reverse any damage. A 24 Hour Heart Monitor was placed on Brian and they conducted 3 Catscans with Contrast and 2 MRIs with Contrast. They studied his Ear Canal, My Brain, Neck, and Head. They found no Medical Reason as to the cause of Brian's condition. He was discharged home today in the same condition he arrived at the Hospital in with no Solution to Current Condition. Brian has 24 hours a day loud ringing in right ear and has lost all of the fluid in my Right Ear Canal causing him to have no balance. He must use a Walker to navigate despite be being dizzy 24-7 and he feels the floors dropping with each step he take. Brian has no crystals in his Right Ear to allow him to Hear.  In addition the Nerve in the Estation Tube is Dead and I have constant loud ringing in my ear. His wife Erica is seeking out ETN Specialists that will cost out of pocket money who will attempt experimental procedures to try and restore Brian's Hearings and Balance. There are no guarantees. Brian a positive person who always helps others but honestly this has him discouraged and depressed. We can't let Brian give up Hope. He is homebound and can no longer drive or use stairs or do the things he has always enjoyed. Brian is currently receiving a home health aide and physical therapy at home. There will be a long road ahead! This challenge comes Head on for us both after we struggled with severe case of Covid-19 from March to June 2020 and almost died. Please Pray for My husband and I.
