Brian's Fight: Overcoming a Major Infection

Donation protected
On Sunday August 17th Brian went to the ER to have his left shoulder checked out for what he thought was maybe a minor dislocation. Next thing he knew he was being admitted to the hospital on IV antibiotics for a major infection in that shoulder. On Monday morning he was told he was going into emergency surgery to clear out the infection and save his arm. The infection had gone septic and Brian was way sicker than first thought. Surgery went well or so they thought because on Thursday Brian went back into surgery so they could clean out the infection again. They are having a hard time finding an antibiotic to take care of this infection and until they do Brian will remain in the hospital.
As you all know Brian currently works for himself with his trusty skid steer. He had not been able to work for a bit before all of this waiting for surgery on the left shoulder to fix some damage in there. Now with this happening Brian will be out of work for months. The doctors say once they find an antibiotic he will need to take it for months and then Brian will need to have shoulder surgery to repair his shoulder and that will be months of recovery. So him and his trusty skid steer are out of work for a while. But the bills don’t stop.
If you are lucky enough to know Brian you know he is amazing friend and brother to many of us! And if you haven’t met Brian yet, Brian is someone that would do anything for you at anytime. He always puts others needs before his own. Brian will lend you his ear when you need someone to talk to or a midnight show up when your car is broken down. Brian is a lover of animals and especially his dogs! The only thing he is worried about while in the hospital is his fur babies. And rightfully so! (They are being well taken care of). Brian has never met a stranger and if he does they won’t be for long.
We are hoping to help take some of the stress off Brian with this account and help him out with medical expenses, housing expenses and other things he may need over the next several months.
Thank you for taking the time to read Brian’s story. Any donation is greatly appreciated and please share to spread his story. Keep Brian in your thoughts and prayers.
