On Tuesday, January 5th Brianne was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. She was transferred to University of Nebraska Medical Center/Buffett Cancer Center where she underwent a bone marrow biopsy that confirmed this diagnosis. She will be there for the next several weeks while she receives initial treatment.
We are continuing to learn the details of her diagnosis and extent of her treatment plan and will update this page as we learn more. This page was created to allow her many friends and family to support her in her journey to beat cancer. Unfortunately, for Bri this is the second time she has battled cancer, but we know one thing about her- she has beat it before and will do it again.
It is a scary diagnosis. It is the start of a difficult chapter in her life. But anyone who knows Bri, knows that she is so much more than a three letter diagnosis. She is a Momma to two beautiful and spirited children, Wife, Daughter, Sister, Nurse, Best Friend, Dog and Cat Momma, Crafter, Decorator, and so much more!
Her family and friends are the most important thing in the world to her and if you are in her world you know that. She is the first to be there for anyone who is struggling with a note, kind word, homemade craft, fundraiser, or all of the above. She is the first to volunteer at church, dance, work, and with her family. She has done so much for so many of us- let's do this for Bri.
Money raised through this fundraiser will help the Schillerberg’s with medical expenses, gas for appointments, and costs associated with treatments. It will allow her family to focus less on the financial burden and more on caring for Brianne, Clint, Gracie and Brody. This will be a difficult battle but the goal is a complete remission.
If you are unable to aid financially please help by saying a prayer. Pray that the lord wraps Angels wings around Brianne and her family. Pray for insight for the team of doctors providing her care. Pray for a fighting spirit for Brianne and grace on her most difficult days. Pray for peace for Brianne and her family as COVID has stolen the ability for all of us to support Bri in person while hospitalized. Pray for continued faith, hope and love. Please attach a kind word of encouragement below whether or not you are able to donate. Words of affirmation have always been one of her love languages, so let her know you stopped by to read her story!
We will be supporting Bri with a meal train when she is discharged from the hospital. We are working on t shirts and additional fundraisers. We want to support her in any way that we can!
