Brianna's heart

On Thursday February 17, 2022 my daughter Brianna's life changed forever.  She is a 14 year old 8th grader at GHMS and was trying out for track.  It was towards the end of the tryouts that I received a phone call that my daughter was in distress and with medical personnel.  We immediately rushed to the ER to meet her medical team where we were told she had to be shocked and brought back.  After a few tests they felt she needed to be flown to another hospital where more testing was done.  After telling us she had a heart attack and over a week in the hospital we were told she needed a defibrillator put in to regulate her rhythms and diagnosis was Restrictive Cardiomyopathy!  It's a disease of the heart muscles for which there is no cure.  It can be fixed with a heart transplant and this being so rare will happen soon.  Brianna is an amazing young lady!  She's brave and strong!  She's doing ok since the defibrillator was put in but it's only a matter of time before the transplant has to happen.  We are already overwhelmed with medical bills which is why we are asking for help..  Please consider donating to Brianna's Heart, any donations already made we thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
