Brian Morse Family Fund

If you ever met Brian Morse, you were instantly struck by the mischievous glint in his eye and contagious smile. Brian was an easy-going, hard-working, community minded, family man who ran his own business. His laid back demeanor and witty sense of humor caught you off guard making you instantly enjoy his company. Brian loved his wife and kids and talked about them constantly. His firm belief in community was demonstrated through coaching and his attendance at every school board meeting even after his children graduated from Plainfield Elementary School. It was jokingly said he earned himself an honorary chair at the meetings. The building and craftsmanship he devoted to his work was simply beautiful and something not often seen these days. He enjoyed and cared about his accomplishments and took great pride in his work.  Amongst all this, Brian was a private man who didn't complain and dedicated his time to enjoying the simplicities of life.

In his sudden and tragic death, he leaves behind a stunned community, loving wife, and two sons. There is a hole that is hard pressed to be filled. Brian had health issues that rendered him out of work for long periods of time. Resources were quickly depleted since he owned his own business, yet the Morses' continued to do their best without complaint. Brian gave so very much to our community and supported it so vastly, we feel it is time to give back to his family during their time of need. The suggested amount will cover funeral and burial costs. It is our hope that we can raise far beyond that amount to assist his wife and sons through this very difficult time.

Personally I have known the Morses' in many different capacities. Brian's death was a blow to my soul because our community lost a valued member. His wife is my friend and co-worker who has supported me through difficult times. I have had the utmost pleasure of being an educator to his sons each whom exemplify Brian's best traits . I am writing on behalf of the staff at Plainfield Elementary School,  and we wish  to ease the difficulty his family will experience by transitioning to a life without his physical presence. If that can be achieved through monetary means then we hope to at least be able to reach this goal in honor of Brian's family. We wish for the legacy of his smile and sense of humor to live on. We hope you support this endeavor and we thank you in advance for your generous donation.
