Brian McNeal’s Trigeminal Neuralgia

Donation protected

Pain is something that is hard to define or understand unless you yourself have had the proper perspective enduring pain. From 2018 until now, Brian has been dealing with unimaginable pain all day every day without a break. The simplest way to try and understand his pain would be to imagine having a migraine headache, a root canal, and a sinus infection rolled into one singular issue. Then imagine having that pain remain, all the time without a single break. Many doubt such pain could exist, but it does. And it is a reality Brian has been forced to live with, disguise and find ways to endure while trying to resemble a normal life on the outside.
Brian was diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuropathic pain from multiple dental traumas. He later learned that he also has two compressions against his Trigeminal nerve causing “Trigeminal Neuralgia” which leaves him in a constant state of pain that most cannot comprehend. For 4 years now, Brian has been struggling to deal with this pain.
To make things even harder, Brian has been living with type 1 diabetes since he was 12 years old. As if meeting their deductible each year wasn’t a burden enough, the diabetes has unfortunately made treating his TN nearly impossible because of adverse side effects and life-threatening blood sugar lows.
Recently Brian also herniated his L1-L2 disc in his back and is still dealing with unimaginable pain and not sleeping as a result. He is attempting to get surgery as soon as possible and has only held off this long in hopes that surgery could have been avoided. But the mental toll everything is having on him has made waiting any longer a luxury he can’t live with.
The strain all of this has had on him is hard to put to words. Not just the relationships with his wife and boys, but also the incredible toll it has had on his small woodworking business he started and thrived at before the TN took over.
Because of the overwhelming flood of financial hardships, he and his family greatly need your support. Their goal is to try and get approved for social security disability income, and determine a way for Brian to work as much has possible, but that day is too far away to count on.
If you would be so kind as to show your support through a financial gift, or prayer, or something other, Brian and his family would be very grateful.

God bless you and thank you for your compassion!
